***Make-and-take crafts, lunch, and Pie-a-Squire/Man-at-Arms are a separate fee. At the troll booth, you will be able to purchase tokens for the make-and-take booths and food booth. Total cost per family will depend on activities and food purchased, but should be reasonable enough for all to attend.
Bring the entire family to this one-day medieval faire with activities and fun for all ages!
Compete in a game of skill and chance known as "The Barter Game."
What is the barter game? Each person will receive a cloth bag at troll. Inside each bag are 'trinkets' which you can 'barter' with others at the event. Collect the neatest assortment of trinkets, the most of one item, or special trinkets and win special prizes. Some of those prizes include fresh baked bread and a banner.
Bid on the opportunity to "Pie-a-Squire/Man-At-Arms" of the Realm to benefit the Canton. Lord Lochlan, the Senechal of Ravenhyrst, Lord Robert Magnus, the Senechal of Caerthe, Lord Thak and THL Angus the Forrester have agreed to make the sacrifice for this special fundraiser.
Come learn new skills at the Make and Take Booths. Lady Drahomira will be showing her skill at beading. Some basic leather working will be done with Sir Flanagan. Lady Celeste will be sharing her talent in foil embossing.
Be prepared to mount your noble steeds, warriors of the Outlands, for there shall be a test of arms in the form of a……. JOUST!!! And we don't mean bottle jousting. Please bring your armor. Also, for your viewing comfort, please bring a chair.
Food will be served Faire-style, and you purchase what you desire to eat. Lord Brynjolfr Allarrsson will be preparing a delectable selection for lunch. The theme is Mediterranean grill, beef or chicken gyros with plenty of toppings, pita bread and hummus. Bring your appetites!!
Children's activities:
There will be a quest/treasure hunt that the kids pick up when they arrive and complete throughout the day. Prizes to be awarded at closing court. There will also be a game/craft/activity table available. Supplies will be provided. This will not be manned so please supervise your children.
Order of the day will be as follows: 10am Site opens, 10:30 Jousting, Noon Lunch, 4pm Closing Court, 5pm Site Closes
Directions:
From I-25 South/Littleton/South Lakewood area using C-470
Follow C-470 West to I-70 EAST. Stay in right hand lane and take first exit which is 6th Ave East. Stay in the right hand lane as it becomes the exit ramp to Indiana Street. Take the Indiana Street exit, turn right onto Indiana Street. Go to the first stoplight, turn right, (West), onto the 6th Ave Frontage Road. This will take you to the Fairgrounds Entrance on the left.
From Downtown Denver use 6th Avenue West
Follow 6th Avenue West to Indiana Street. Turn left on Indiana, you will drive under 6th Avenue and at 2nd stoplight turn right, this is 6th Ave Frontage Road. This will take you to the Fairgrounds Entrance on the left.
Coming West on I-70
Coming West on I-70 West, go to Exit 262, this will be the Colfax Street Exit. This is a down hill ramp, at the light you will turn left onto W. Colfax, you will be going East. At the 2nd stoplight, (Colorado Mills/Denver West Blvd & Indiana) turn right. Go to the 5th stop light to 6th Ave Frontage road and turn right. This will take you to the Fairgrounds Entrance on the left.
Coming East on I-70
Coming East on I-70 take Exit 261 which is 6th Ave East. Stay in your right hand lane as it immediately becomes the exit ramp to Indiana Street. Take the Indiana Street exit. Turn right onto Indiana Street and then turn right, (West), onto the 6th Ave Frontage Road (1st light). This will take you to the Fairgrounds Entrance on the left.
Site Restrictions: No pets allowed, no open flames (candles) in hall, no glass in parking lot. Site is dry.
